1. Where do you see yourself in five years?

In 5 years I want to have my masters degree. I also see myself on a television near you being a News Anchor or Sportscaster. My sister and I have a clothing line started (cavOUR cOURture) and hopefully by then it will have flourished.

2.What do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time I read, practice mi Español, clean, workout and spend time with my family. I belong to two university organizations: UTTV & UT 10 News. I am constantly looking for story ideas and interviewing prestigious people. I love it ! I sleep, eat and dream UT 10 news. I am an anchor, reporter, editor and shoot my own footage for the campus news. Here’s a sample of what I do!

3.What’s the best advice anybody has ever given to you?

“When you practice doing the right thing, it becomes routine.” Rich,
& “Life is not a race, It is a marathon.” My Daddy.
My Daddy also encourages me to NEVER give up, because the worse thing someone can say is NO, right? Right..

4. Describe what a perfect day would be like for you?

The perfect day for me is to attend either a Cleveland Cavaliers or Browns game with (my) significant other, eating nacho’s & jalapeno’s while chatting about the game & the competition. The weather would be sunny but fair, not too hot or too cold, so I can wear some nice shades along with my fave blue jean jacket, and a nice pair of jeans with a cute girly sports t-shirt on (supporting either the Cavs or Brownies). *Cute & super comfortable heels are a must.

5. What are some brands that you wear?

I am not too much of price tag shopper, so if it looks good on me and accompanies my figure and skin tone well, then I’m sold ! I wear many brands, but I try to be discreet as possible with my logo’s. I love an array of designs & labels by Paul Marciano, that man is pure genius ! I wear Rock & Republics, Kensie, Banana Republic, ABS, Bebe, Vince Cammuto, etc..

6. Do you think what you wear effects your confidence? Why or why not?

No, I think your confidence have an effect on what you wear..

I believe fashion is one of those instant cues that people will judge you off of. People will assume you either have it or you don’t. So sometimes you have to prove yourself past presentation and let your intellectual side shine through. But with the right amount of confidence and arrogance, you can pull off anything in any given situation; as long as its your originality and your comfortable with it.

Ha ha, this question reminds me of an episode of Martin.. when Gina’s head was stuck in the headboard & she had to give a presentation at work with the headboard still around her neck, along with wearing an over sized wig. She managed to land the promotion while looking rather odd to her peers. But it was Gina’s intelligence, eloquent mannerism and her high confidence that led to her success in this scenario. Proving, no matter what you wear, with the right amount of confidence and belief in yourself you can achieve anything!
